Thailand is literally dying...
a month or 2 ago, the reds invaded into the main hospital in bangkok and find all the injured soldiers inside. they stopped all the cars they can find and demanded to look into their cars to make sure there's no weapons. some people let them, while others who are more educated tell them "you're not a police, you don't have the right to do that". immediately they hit the car window and almost hurt the people inside.
the day after thai new year, the police was ordered to surround a hotel where one of the leaders of the red was sleeping the night before since 5am... the other 2 leaders found out and called that leader to come out using another passage. once he was out, the reds started surrounding the police instead... stupid? they shouldn't even have waited.
just recently, siam central world, one of the biggest and most famous shopping centre in bangkok, was caught on fire and might collapse at any moment. corrections : JUST collapsed. the tv-programn-hosting building was bombed, one of the channels is closed at the moment. soldiers, army, trucks, police, whatever, are everywhere, trying to "stablilise" the situation. hope it helps.
not to mention the person who's most hurt from these situations.
64 years ago, when the 8th king was assasinated, a new king was chosen. he was just 19 years old, he was studying doctor. (why was he at 1st studying doctor? very long story) he stopped studying doctor and decided to study 4 other more important courses - agriculture, science, leadership (or whatever it's called) and law. yes 4 courses, and all in one shot. he was an extremely talented person, he was best in badminton, sailing, all the studies he went through, music (saxophone, violin, flute and lots more).
64 years ago, it was during the world war 2 situation. all people, including the Thais, were desperate for food and shelter, everything seemed to be dangerous to them. and when the new king was chosen, he had to continue the 4 courses in switzerland. before he was going up the plane, thousands other Thais surrounded him, all crying deperately "please dont leave us, please dont leave us" he started crying and replied, "i will never leave you if you don't leave me"
so what's happening now, why are they not thinking? why are they only worshiping another one rich person? why are they LEAVING him? why? 4 years ago, on his 60th year of being the king of thailand, 100 thousands of people suddenly came and met at the same place to celebrate this most wonderful day. there's no invitations, they came, all by themselves. no one told them to go. they wanted to do only one thing on that day, to celebrate for our father.
so what is happening now? i don't wanna say what Thaksin has said about our father. it's disgusting, it's just disgusting
