MY 1ST orientation's over!
sounds happy to let it finish eh? well... partly... ok i dont really know whether i was happy it's over or not. i mean, it's not that kind of fun, it's not that kind of boring, it's not that kind of i'm-quiet-and-not-going-to-talk-to-you-becuse-i-already-got-friends-inside-this-course atmostphere. but still it's like there's something missing
ok! 1st day of the orientation. 1 word WTF?!!! (ok 3 words, whatever)
basically there's 3 rooms inside where you have to pass one by one. the 1st room went in and the seniors were wearing army uniform. SERIOUSLY shocked me, i mean, WHAT THE HELL? i know engineering course's orientation is scary, but SURELY they're not going to ask us to run around the jungle and find bombs right?
lucky it's not LOL. they just shout a bit... and it's done... ok... retarded. the 2nd one, they asked all the girls to sit behind (oh and practically only 5% of the total students are girls) and watch the guys get killed. xD not that serious but yea, some are picked out to dance chicken dance... ok... retarded.
the 3rd room was even more stupid. the seniors sing engineering song and ask us to do the... whats that called? the "move the private part forward while you swing your arms backward" dance. just once, YES once, and the 1st day of orientation's done...
the 2nd day got more things. but basically not that interesting either...
1st we were grouped into about 45 people in each group. then one senior bring us around the engineering course area. played some stupid games like... pass the message downfrom 1st person to last person and see how many you got correct kind of game. blah blah. then we had lunch. apparently there's this guy called Ball who's very friendly he even offered me his food share (whatever it's called)
anyway inside my group there's this girl who's a muslim, but the seniors forgot to prepare muslim food for her. so when the seniors asked all of us to eat, ALL the guys except me and Ball and one more guy beside me (Boat) started eating, more like gobbling. then she was looking at us with the "i'm sorry" look xDD poor thing. but it's like, this is the ought-to-do! most guys in there are still childish i supposed. -_-
then after lunch we had the oh my-god-so-interesting game of "use the items you have to build the tallest tower" (yea... again) but cant help it. it's engineering course LOL. so apparently my group was in a total venice, other people's group make like 5m of tower and we make 1m. so in the end the "leader" changes our plan and make a heart shape instead. MY GODDD sooo damn embarrassing! but yea...
guess thats all for the orientation? still got 3 more days from 21-23 march. right during welly's birthday
hope i can adapt to the changes in thailand...i'm starting to shake with nerve.
some animal tell me "it's the mindset that one has that determines whether he or she will enjoy or not." well, you cant have a proper mindset when the only thing in your brain whenever you're with them is bugging on one single fear.
