ahhh engineering orientation's so-called "over".
guess what the games of the orientation's got? CAR BUILDING! soooo engineerly! it's about making a car that will move the furthest (means least friction and resistance force) and also be able to push down a bottle of a certain volume of water (highest inertia)---this is getting very nerdy... then our groups were like "you should make the object as light as possible to reduce the reaction force N on the ground" and bullshit. "we should make the point of contact of car and the bottle as high from the ground as possible to have max perpendicular force without object moving with acceleration a" and blah blah blah blah. and you know what the end result of our car is? A CAN!!!! A SINGLE, GODDAMN CAN! and tadah! we win the "furthest the car can go" contest HAHAHAHAHAHA such A car!
another weird activity is... CLEAN SEWAGE wtf?!!! anyway i was at 1st appointed to help take out the leaves using a dustpan (apparently it's the only object the seniors give us so...) i realise i sucked at it... but i'm the kind who dont wanna lose face so i continued until a guy behind offered the help. thats my first friend =D
not sure whether can call him a friend or not though. just today when the head of engineering course seniors finished his speech, everyone was allowed to go home, but i got called and so i told him and some other guys to wait for me then we will go have lunch together. but when i was out, HE'S GONE!! OMG i'm pangseh-ed BIG TIME. so i stood outside the hall, alone, looking around finding anyone familiar to maybe say "hey, my friends left me, mind if i join you?" everyone was with a group of other people, laughing and talking to each other as if they have known one another for forever. i started crying... JOKING.
after i realise i kena pangseh-ed i was like "ewww sucker!" and walked off to find my cousin in another building. hehe
i'm starting to wonder, will i be able to find a group which i can stick around with for the next 4 years just like the time in secondary school. i'm scared, frankly speaking... i really am not good at making new friends in the "oh hi, my name's maruay, what's your name?" way. more like "eh you push me for what?!! your name's john huh? i'll remember you for the rest of my life" kind i think...
ok corrections : i'm fucking emotional about being pangseh-ed. if i were like last time, i would have already called that person and demanded for a proper apology
